Scottish Borders Film Focus (SBFF) advises on and facilitates
all types of filming in the area. We welcome enquiries from the UK and abroad.
Our assistance is free as we work with filmmakers in
an advisory role. Given a description of the type of production you intend
to make and the kind of locations you are looking for we can suggest possible
sites, supply photographs and make the necessary introductions.
As an information point we can advise you on the necessary permissions and
procedures. Our staff have over 20 years' experience of running a
film office and during the 9 years that SBFF has
been operational we have built a database which now holds over 600 locations.
We also hold information on local crew and equipment, as well as a whole
range of companies that will be useful to filmmakers in production.

SBFF is part of the UK Screen Commission Network and works with the British
Film Commission and the Locations department of Scottish Screen which co-ordinates
the work of the Scottish Locations Network. We are also members of the Association
of Film Commissioners International (AFCI). |
