why film in the scottish borders
If you are considering filming in the Scottish Borders, you don't need to look far for the benefits it would offer your production.
The Borders has an amazing variety of locations within a small geographical area. Its quiet roads take you through the heather-clad hills of Tweedsmuir to the thick woodlands and winding valleys of Ettrick Forest, alongside the breathtaking river and tributaries of the River Tweed. Scenic Border towns such as Peebles, Melrose, Kelso and Eyemouth give way to industrial and mill towns such as Selkirk, Hawick and Galashiels.
